Vanessa Paradis is reportedly dating Carla Bruni's ex-boyfriend. The actress - who split from long-term love Johnny Depp earlier this year after 14 years together - is being romanced by French musician Benjamin Biolay after being introduced by Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld.

"They're the same age and have similar backgrounds in music, so Karl was keen for them to meet. They have even recorded a duet called 'Enjoy' on Benjamin's latest album. They plan to promote and tour the album together next spring," a source said.

Benjamin is no stranger to the limelight as he has previously stepped out with France's former First Lady Carla and is also the ex-husband of singer Chiara Mastroianni, the daughter of acclaimed French actress Catherine Deneuve and Italian actor Marcello Deneuve.

The new romance is reportedly Vanessa's second since confirming her separation from Hollywood superstar Johnny in June, with whom she has two children - Lily-Rose and Jack. She is said to have enjoyed a brief fling with French businessman Guy-David Gharbi earlier this month.
