Sandra Bullock

gave a surprise serenade at the Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery show on Tuesday.

The Oscar winning-actress - who has only recently begun a return to public life following revelations of her husband Jesse James’ affair with tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee - joked with crowds at the charity event at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee after learning the show had raised over $2 million.

Walking onto the stage holding an acoustic guitar, Sandra - who was there to introduce singer Faith Hill - told the crowd, “When they told me how much you all contributed, I realized I had to do more than be funny. I’m going to bring the house down. And I’m going to do it Nashville style!”

She then asked the audience for “some quiet” before playing the first notes to Deep Purple classic “Smoke on the Water”. Sandra, 45, then joked, “I can’t play for crap.”

The Blind Side actress was a number of big stars at the benefit, including , LeAnn Rimes, Miley Cyrus, Carrie Underwood and ZZ Top. The money raised by the event was donated to victims of flooding in Tennessee.
