Chace Crawford is dating a television presenter eight years his senior.

The 26-year-old actor - who plays Nate Archibald in the teenage soap Gossip Girl - has been out on ''a couple'' of dates with sports newscaster Erin Andrews. The 34-year-old past Dancing With The Stars contestant and Chace attended a vodka event together recently and were also spotted dining at a New York City basement restaurant.

"They're getting to know each other," a source told US Weekly.

Meanwhile the actor recently spoke out about the end of his popular television drama which will end after its sixth and final season at the end of this year: "For me, it's going to be...tough to leave New York City. And it's definitely an end of an era. It was college for everyone really."

"If I got to write the show, it would be a very different thing. I would make Chuck Gossip Girl and I would turn my character into Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. That would be a weird twist of events," he told Parade of the show's cancellation.
