Adele warned Kelly Clarkson not to have a baby.

The "Stronger" hitmaker, who is eager to start a family with her new husband Brandon Blackstock, has revealed the British star advised her not to get pregnant unless she was ready to take a career break and stay at home. "'Girl, don't have a baby 'cause everything else will go on the back burner. I'm living in babyland!'" the 31-year-old star said that the 25-year-old Oscar-winning singer told her at the Grammy Awards in February.

The "Set Fire to the Rain" singer gave birth to her first son, Angelo, with her fiane Simon Konecki in October 2012, and has kept a relatively low profile since then. But it appears her advice hasn't put Kelly off as she recently revealed she and her music manager husband have been trying for a baby "like rabbits." "[We want a baby] now! Practice makes perfect! We're trying, trying, trying ... Like rabbits!" she said.

The former American Idol winner said becoming a step-mother to Brandon's children from a previous relationship - Savannah, 11, and Seth, seven - has made her want more maternal than ever. "We have two kids. And they're so great. And I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five," she said.
