Jessica Simpson has never been one to keep personal details to herself. And as annoying as that habit may be, the girl always people something to talk about.

Shortly after accusing Carrie Underwood of being a liar - and joking (?) that she checks her boyfriend’s phone logs - the singer once again chose to reveal way too much to a magazine.

In the People interview, Simpson couldn’t help but gush about the new man in her life. (Apparently she doesn’t believe in jinxing herself.) Jessica, who even publicly professed her love for Tony Romo after only four months of dating, revealed a private moment the two had just had that day.

“I just told him today, ‘You’re the love of my life.’ I don’t really ever say that to anybody.”

(Uhh, you haven’t “really ever” said that to anybody? You either have or you haven’t.)

Fortunately, I wasn’t the only one who saw the humor in that particular article. Romo’s ex - the one he supposedly still calls - also got a good chuckle out of it. According to a friend, Carrie Underwood couldn’t help but notice Jessica’s pattern of behavior.

“She finds Jessica’s love of putting her life on display pretty desperate. She laughed at the People cover, because it’s the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she’s a little fatter.”

Well - I don’t necessarily agree with the weight comment, but the rest of it…
