Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to bad publicity. The Razzie-winning actress famously failed two drug tests, was recently sent to jail twice and can’t keep her family problems out of the press. What’s the best way to counteract all the big, ugly headlines? How about with a few much nicer-sounding ones?

On the heels of her latest release from LA County, Linds has announced that she will be returning to rehab. Sources say she will “do more” treatment than what she was ordered to do recently (when her court-ordered rehab stint was cut short because she made such a huge improvement … remember?). In the meantime, Lohan is back to wearing an alcohol-monitoring SCRAM bracelet. Hmm…do they make a cocaine-monitoring bracelet?

Since Linds is likely to be in rehab as early as Monday, she took care of some important public-relations matters over the weekend by visiting a mission and outreach center on Sunday (view the video above). Lohan apparently felt like doing some good work, so she brought mom Dina and sister Ali with her to LA’s Dream Center, where she signed autographs and passed out purses.

Doesn’t she seem like more of a good role model to kids now? Isn’t it nice that the press just happened to be there to record video, take photos and make sure everyone knows all about how great and generous she is?
