Those upset over ABC’s decision to bring Brad Womack into The Bachelor fold might want to give the 38-year-old a second chance. Why? Because he promises viewers will get a new ending to his story.

According to the man who disappointed both DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, he is now in a new place – and with a new woman.

"I did find somebody, I did fall in love,” Womack said about the next reality show installment. “So for viewers who wanted to see that, it happened, a true love story happened. I'm very much in love. I'm a happy guy."

So what made this go-around any different than the first? “I was so much more open to the process. ... It was just so much more fun. ... I don't know. The women were so much more engaging."

The Bachelor returns to the ABC schedule on January 3.
