Alec Baldwin Subject of Daughter’s 911 Call
Alec Baldwin + Ireland Baldwin + phones = Do Not Mix.
Early this morning, the 30 Rock star was rushed to the hospital after what is being called a “misunderstanding” by Alex’s rep Matthew Hiltzik. Police and aid arrived at his Central Park West home shortly after receiving a 911 call reportedly made by Baldwin’s 14-year-old daughter.
According to sources, Ireland - who is pictured with her father at the 2009 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards - claimed her father had threatened to take sleeping pills after they had gotten into a horrible fight. At the time of her call, Alec was reportedly “unresponsive.”
Although the 51-year-old was transported to Lenox Hill Hospital, he was quickly released. A friend of Alec’s says this proves the Emmy winner was in no way under the influence of anything.
“If there was a real problem, he wouldn’t have been released within an hour,” Matthew added.

Baldwin - who is scheduled to cohost the March 7 Academy Awards with Steve Martin - “is completely fine and will be at work today” according to Hiltzik.
In 2007, Alec and Ireland were the center of an entirely different phone call. That was when an angry father left an infamous voice mail message calling his daughter a “thoughtless little pig.”
