As the Jonas Brothers fully know, pictures do speak a thousand words. And last night, the brothers gave photographers plenty to say.

Over the past month, Nick has done his best to dodge questions referring to Selena Gomez, the star of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place. Meanwhile, older brother Joe has had his name associated with rising country star Taylor Swift. (She appears in the boy band’s upcoming concert movie.)

And while I’m sure their reps will clearly deny any romantic relationships, it was clear the two brothers were on a double date when they took both Selena and Taylor to Tao in New York City. (Well - I guess you could kind of call it a double date since Kevin Jonas and a bodyguard were also present.) But, of course, the couples still had to be sneaky and keep their distance. When the group exited the restaurant, it was actually Gomez and Swift that were seen holding hands.

OMG—Were the two ladies talking about how they were just the luckiest girls alive??
